Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! I am very excited for a wonderful year together, filled with positive learning experiences. I will update our classroom blog on on a weekly basis. Please check the blog for our secret sack topic, along with the curricular skills we will be focusing on throughout the week. We have a new reading program called Lead 21 this year. I am very excited to implement this new program into our classroom.
On occasion, I will also include a family discussion/trivia question. If you discuss this with your child and write a simple note stating you talked about it, your child will earn a sticker or a prize from the treasure box. Communication is a vital component for a successful school year. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or information that would be beneficial to your child's education.
