Secret Sack is our version of show and tell.  The benefits of Secret Sack are the powerful visual to re-enforce the phonics skills we are currently learning in class.  Your child will share Secret Sack every week.  Please help your child prepare for this special activity.

How it works... Every week we will have a new topic. This topic is based off of the phonics skills we are learning throughout the week. Your child will have an opportunity to share secret sack once a week on his/her designated day. I will write announce the topic on the previous Friday. How secret sack works: Your child is to bring an object to school (or draw a picture) and place it in a bag. Help your child develop three clues to read to the class. One clue must be the phonics skill. For example, if we are learning short words, your child may bring in a hat. Possible clues are, it goes on your head, it has the sound of short a, and it is blue. Your child will have a specific day to share secret sack.
